Stella Westbrook Carraway Mullins

Stella Westbrook Carraway Mullins, 98, of Smithdale, died July 23, 2003, at the Beverly Healthcare in McComb.
Visitation if 1 pm, today until 2 pm. Services at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Smithdale. The Rev. Burnett Carraway and the Rev Mike Rutland will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Hartman Funeral Home pf McComb has charge of arrangements.
Mes. Mullins was born Aug 28, 1904, in Smithdale, daughter of William Taylor Westbrook and Icy Marsalis Westbrook.
She was known in her community for sitting with and caring for the elderly. She was the oldest member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she had been a member all her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jesse Rollin Carraway; her second husband, Henry Mullins; a daughter Rite Lee Carraway; two brothers, William Elija and Lawerence Lee Carraway; and four sisters, Myrtis Wells, Minnie Sandifer, Ruby Theall and Velma Carraway.
Survivors include a daughter, Jesse Carraway Domke of Nashville, TN; a very special adopted daughter Frances Westbrook Varnadoof of McComb; and a granddaughter, Patty and husband Carrol Naulof, Nashville.
Pallbearers will be Stevie Carraway, Will Westbrook, Bill Carraway, Tommy Carraway, Wayne Carraway and Billy Butler. Honarary pallbearers are Ed Bulter, Robert Earl Wrpten, Lewis Westbrook, J R Westbrook and Collins Wroten.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church.
