Sarah was the daughter of Thomas J. Conley and Annie Kathryn Young. She married native Mississipian, James Jackson "Jack" Glasgow, in Cooke County, Texas on July 16, 1893. Jack died in 1932. In the 1940 census, Sarah is working as a housekeeper in the home of Louisa Parmley; both are widowed. Sarah remarried a Mr. Cook sometime between the 1940 census and her death in 1949.
