Born April 30, 1922, in the town of Herman, a son of the late William and Emma Spindler Bramstedt, he attended Howard Grove Schools.
On June 15, 1946, he married the former Amy Lemke at First Reformed Church in Oostburg. The couple has lived in Howards Grove since their marriage.
For over 33 years, Mr. Bramstedt was employed at Thomas Industries.
Prior to that he was with the U. S. Air Force for three years during World War II. Mr. Bramstedt was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in the town of Herman and served as deacon.
Surviving are his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Mary) Roerdink of Oostburg, Nancy of Fond du Lac and Jayne at home; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister, a half brother and two half sisters.
Funeral services will be at Immanuel United Church of Christ in the town of Herman, the Rev. William Bender, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
