KOSCIUSKO — Mrs. Sharon Cox Sechler, 64, of McAdams passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 in Kosciusko.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 4 with graveside at 2 p.m. at Coleman Cemetery in McAdams, and memorial at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Kosciusko.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Culpepper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sechler, an Oklahoma native, served as a missionary with her husband. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce and Ione Scroggins Cox, and son, Kendall Sechler.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Richard "Dick" Sechler; sons, John Tharp (Paula), Wayne Tharp (Alison), Paul Andrew Sechler (Shanna); daughter, Joyce Harlos; brothers, John Cox, David Cox; sister, Betty Dubose; three grandchildren, Hillary O'Briant, Lauren Tharp, Jordan Tharp.
Rev. Phillip Palmertree will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be Dick Sechler, David Cox, John Tharp, Wayne Tharp, Paul Andrew Sechler, and Phillip Palmertree.
