Howard M. SEE, 85, Rt. 6, Rochester, died at 7:30 a.m. today at his residence. He had been in failing health for many years.
Mr. See was born Aug. 4, 1895 in Macy to Sylvanus and Mary TROUT SEE. He had lived most of his life in the Macy area with the exception of the last two years, when he lived with a daughter. He was married June 3, 1917 to Mary TRACY, who died Aug. 31, 1979. He had owned and operated a lumber company and grain elevator in Macy. He also was a building contractor. He was a member of the Macy United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marion CARDONA, Rochester; a son, Robert S. SEE, Greely, Colo; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sylvia BEECHER MATHIAS, Fort Wayne. A son, John Howard SEE, died in 1978. Three sisters and two brothers also preceded in death. Arrangements are pending at the Foster & Good Funeral Home.
