OBITUARY

Tuesday, October 23, 1962

Emerson W. SEE, 72, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday at his home on the West shore of Lake Manitou. Mr. See had been in ill health for the past six years.

Mr. See, a retired rancher, was born in Macy on Oct. 19, 1890 to Sylvanus and Mary TROUT SEE. He later moved to Plentywood, Mont., and then to Rochester in 1956. Mr. See was married Dec. 19, 1930 to Friedel E. GILVIN at Wolf Point, Mont. She survives at home. He was a member of the Methodist church at Macy and the F&AM 523 Lincoln Lodge, also at Macy. Mr. See was also a World War I veteran.

Surviving with the wife are a brother, Howard SEE, Macy; two sisters, Mrs. George (Georgia) SCHOEN, Macy, and Mrs. Lyman (Sylvia) BEECHER, Logansport, and several nieces and nephews. A brothers and two sisters preceded in death.

Services will be at the Foster & Good funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Ronald HARSHMAN of the Macy Methodist church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
