Russell Hamilton, 50, of Dublin, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011.
He was a machinist with XALOY Corp. for 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Edward "Tom" Hamilton.
Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Lisa Boyd Hamilton; his children whom he adored, Cody Russell and McKinzi Brooke Hamilton, of the home; mother, Emily S. Hamilton, of Dublin; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery Carroll and Deborah Hamilton, of Parrott; mother and father-in-law, C. E. and Beth Boyd, of Pulaski; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tammy and Paul Hamblin, of Pulaski; special cousin, Tim Ramsdell; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel in Radford with Dr. C. R. Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and any time at the Boyd residence, 4531 Old Tavern Road, Newbern Heights.
