Martha SKELLINGER was the second child born to Joseph and Martha Jane Hall Skellinger, of Stow Creek Township, Cumberland Co, New Jersey. Martha, her older sister, Ida B and their mother, Martha Jane all died within approx. 40 days of one another, due to diphtheria. All are buried in the Cohansey Baptist Church Cemetery at Roadstown, according to the records of that church.

The last headstone on the righthand side might be infant Martha's. There is no readable inscription, but the other three headstones are those of Martha Jane Hall Skellinger and her two other children.
