Mrs. Ida Frances Eves, age 87, of Huntington, WV, widow of Carl L. Eves, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born March 4, 1923, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Creth and Cecilia Sovine Chapman.
She was also preceded in death by
a sister, Martha Chapman,
2 brothers, Buck and Charles Chapman.
She was a member of the former Southside United Methodist Church. She was a retired School Teacher, having taught at Merrits Creek and Highlawn Elementary Schools.
Surviving are
2 daughters, Joy Pack, of Barboursville, and Cecilia Dolin, of Huntington;
a brother, Donald Chapman, of Milton, WV;
4 sisters, Evelyn Pullen, Freeda Chapman, Dorothy Chapman, and Wanda Hensley, all of Milton;
5 grandchildren, Scott Dolin, Amanda Pack, Benjamin Dolin, Matthew Pack and Michael Pack;
3 great grandchildren.
