Bonnie Jean Arnett Davis, age 86, of David, widow of Rady Davis, died Saturday, September 3, 2011, at her residence.

She was born October 27, 1924, in Gunlock, Ky., a daughter of the late Mort and Bessie Shepherd Arnett.

Bonnie was a devoted mother who attended the Open Door Church and the Garrett First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clay Arnett, Clyde Arnett and Mort Arnett Jr., and four sisters, Minnie Hackworth, Maggie Dotson, Sarah Davis and Charity Wireman.

Survivors include two sons, Gregory Scott (Barb) Davis and Randy Keith (Mary) Davis, both of David, three daughters, Darlene Harris, Lexington, Charlotte (Larry) Adams, David, Sandra Gaye (Lenny Weber) Davis, Cincinnati, OH., two brothers, Claude Arnett, Las Vegas, NV., Clark Arnett, Torrance, CA., one sister, Grace Wireman, Chelsea, MI., nine grandchildren, Jeanie Kathleen Stepp, Amy Caroline Osborne, Ashley Harris, Kara Harris, Stephen Harris II, Jessica Lynn Davis, Brittany Raelea Davis, Tony Weber, Brittany Weber, seven great-grandchildren, Johnathan Boyd, Aliya Osborne, Alexis Osborne, Emily Stepp,Walker Davis Martin, Alissa Stepp,Julie Stepp, and host of special nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Larry Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery, Brush Creek, Hippo.
