Clay was the son of Mort Arnett and Bessie Shepherd and the husband of Zuala Beatrice Gillispie.

Death Takes Fairbornite; Rites in Ky.
Henry Clay Arnett, 45, of 87 Ramona Dr., died 2 a.m. Wednesday at Greene Memorial hospital where he had been a patient for one week.
He was born Aug. 16, 1917 in Kentucky, the son of Mort and Bessie Shepherd Arnett. He was employed as a truck driver with the Schwerman Trucking Co., Fairborn.
Survivors include his widow, Beatrice Gillispie Arnett; his father, Mort; four daughters, Dianna, Sharon, Karen and Sherry; three sons, Earl T., Gary E. and Henry E.; six sisters and two brothers.
Final arrangements for services have not been completed. Services will be held at the Carter & Callahan Funeral Home in Prestonsburg, Ky. Burial will be in Mayo Cemetery in Paintsville, Ky.
