He worked many years in sales for Ameritech before retiring. He then continued in sales for Yellowbook. Dennis was a member of the Elks Club in Lebanon before joining the Noblesville club. He was an amazing husband and father and enjoyed many social activities.
Dennis is survived by his wife Sally; daughters Danielle Gant and Megan (Vessel) von Ruhtenberg; son Brian (Heather) Gant; grandchildren Sabrina Carmickle and Morgan Gant; sisters Suzanne (Mike) Stevens and Janet (Henry) Neff; and brothers David (Debbie) Gant and Don (Kathy) Gant. Friends and family may gather on Monday, November 26th from 4-8 pm in the Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 27 at 10:00 am at the Sugar Plain Cemetery in Thorntown, Indiana. In lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society
