Samuel Kyle was married to Lucretia.

Samuel is probably buried in the Kyle Cemetery, since he is listed on the 1860 Morgan County census living with son Grant Taylor Kyle and Rebecca Kyle, age 96. He probably died there and they buried him in the cemetery, which was across the road from the G.T. Kyle home.

It is not know yet where his wife Lucretia is buried either. She is listed on the 1870 Morgan County census, Falkville Post Office, living with John & Martha Holmes, age 98. It is not known if they would have brought her back to Somerville to bury her or not, or if they buried her elsewhere. If there is a memorial for her in the Kyle Cemetery, please note that it is not sure that she is buried there, but research indicates that she was, and she does not have a known tombstone.
