Mrs Mary M Farel, 75 years old, a resident of Boone County nearly half a century, expired at the home of her grandson Alva Rider, 900 South First street, Frankfort Thursday night at 11:30 o'clock. Death was caused by heart disease and complications. She had been in failing health for six weeks.
Mrs Farel ws born in Howard County, IN a daughter of Solomon and Sarah Robison Wagoner. She was the last of a family of ten children. She was a resident of Boone county most of her life until twenty-five years ago when the family moved to Kirklin where they resided two years. She had been a resident of Frankfort for the past twenty-three years.
She was married twice, the first time on March 27 1878 to James E Morrison who died January 24 1884. Her second marriage was on July 2 1887 to Jas E Farel who passed away November 16 1910.
Surviving are two children Mrs Clara Sheets of Frankfort and Edward Morrison address unknown and seven grandchildren. Two daughters and a son are deceased. The funeral will be conducted from the Holiness church at Frankfort Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will be in Brown's Wonder cemetery northeast of Lebanon.
