Herman Gabsch, a pioneer resident of the town of Centerville, passed away Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the home of his nephew, Lois Gabsch, on the Union road in the town of Centerville. He had reached the age of 70 years, three months and fifteen days.
Mr. Gabsch was born in the town of Centerville, October 9, 1850, and had always resided there. He was a successful farmer for many years, and was unmarried.
The survivors are three brothers, Henry, residing in the town of Mosel; William, in Centerville,and Bernard Gabsch, this city.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon from the late residence, and at 2 o'clock from the Sachsen church. The Rev. Mr. Sprengling will officate and interment will be made in the family lot in the Sachsen cemetery. R.H. Kroos is in charge of the funeral.
