Rosalie was Acadian. She married Bartholomew Accinelli, native of Genoa, Italy, on 26 May 1777 at Môle-Saint-Nicolas, Saint-Domingue (now Haiti). The couple fled as a result of the Haitian Revolution, which ended 01 January 1804.

Bartholomew and Rosalie settled at Portsmouth, Norfolk County (now defunct), Virgina, where they were among the founders of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
