Mrs. E. S. Burt, who was taken to a Shreveport sanitarium Sunday of last week, and whose critical illness and operation were mentioned in last week's issue, died Tuesday. The funeral services were held at the home of Mr. J. W. Agurs, of Shreveport, at 2:30 p.m. yesterday, and the interment was in the Catholic Cemetery of that city. Aside from her husband, she is survived by six children, only one of whom is a boy. They have been temporarily left with Mrs. John M. Stacey, of Curtis, one of Mr. Burt's daughters by his first wife. Mrs. Burt's two living sisters are Mr. J. W. Agurs and Mrs. Barr, both of Shreveport.
