"DILLON -- Laura Ann Dillon, 92, of 108 Longfellow, Claycomo, died late yesterday at her home after a month's illness. Mrs. Dillon was born in Benton County, Missouri, and lived most of her life in Pleasant Hill, Mo., before moving to Clay County three years ago. She was a member of the East Lynne, Mo., Baptist church. Mrs. Dillon was the widow of Charley J. Dillon, a farmer, who died in 1940. She leaves three sons, Everett Dillon of Harrisonville and Irving Dillon and Charley Dillon, both of Pleasant Hill; three daughters, Mrs. Ora Tucker of Lincoln, Mo., Mrs. Ethel Gray of Latour, Mo., and Mrs. Naomi Thompson of the home; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grand-children. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday at the East Lynne Baptist church; burial will be in the Strasburg, Mo., cemetery." The Kansas City Star, September 21, 1959
