"Irvin Dillon, 79, of 5216 Sterling, Raytown, formerly of Pleasant Hill, died yesterday at 1310 East Armour. He was born in Benton County, Missouri. Mr. Dillon was a retired farmer. Surviving are a son, Edwin Dillon of Holden, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Gibson of the home and Miss Georgia Dillon of Pleasant Hill; a brother, Charlie Dillon of Strasburg in Cass County; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Gray of Latour, Mo., Mrs. Naomi Thompson of 5828 N.E. 60th, and Mrs. Ora Tucker of Lincoln, Mo.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday at the Wallace chapel in Pleasant Hill; burial in Strasburg Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, August 5, 1969
