Mr. Bishop was born in Watertown, N.Y. on April 5, 1935 and passed away on August 29, 2011 in Pleasant Plains, Ark. Robert served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 24 years as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was a Mason and a member of HAP Arnold Lodege 457, Scottish Rite Bodies (33rd Degree) and the El Karubah Shrine Temple. Mr. Bishop was a member of Kingston Road Baptist Church, Shreveport, La.
Mr. Bishop was preceded in death by his parents, Henry A. Bishop and Lucy Mae Bishop and three sisters, Ruth Amell, Geraldine Amo and Muriel Booth.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Robert is his wife of 48 years, Alvagene Riggan Bishop; children, Don Feathers and Linda McDougal; one brother, Henry Bishop; 5 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
