Mrs. Roy Roland
OWENTON, June 13 --- Mrs. Jessie Florence Threlkeld Roland, 64, wife of Roy Roland, Owenton, died Tuesday night at the Owen County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of the Owenton Christian Church.
Other survivors include three daughter, Mrs. Mary Betty Baldwin, Lexington, and Mrs. Thelma Marston and Mrs. Alma Jean Allnutt, Owenton, a son Roy Cecil Roland of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Eunice Ransdell, Sparta Route 1, and a brother, Dr. E. C. Threlkeld, Warsaw.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Smither-Coates Funeral Home by the Rev. Proctor Riggins and the Rev. Bobby Mallory. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
