Mrs. Foster passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Chapman Healthcare Center. She was born on Jan. 26, 1927 in Jacksonville, Texas. She was a longtime member of Alexander City Church of Christ. Mrs. Foster worked as a bank teller in Texas and then worked as a seamstress for Russell Corporation.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years. John L. Foster of Alexander city, daughter, Kay Tapley (John) of Jackson's Gap; son, Ronnie Foster (Mary) of Opelika; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; special friend, Mary Wood.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be given to Alexander City Church of Christ.
