Mildred Louise Blevins of New Braunfels passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at Eden Home at the age of 75.

She was born April 9, 1925, to Elisha Winfield and Cherokee Rose Winfield in Cove, Ark.

She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church where she was active in the Women's Missionary Union. Mrs. Blevins is survived by her husband, Samuel H. Blevins of New Braunfels; sons, Sammie L. Blevins and wife Nancy of New Braunfels, and Douglas H. Blevins of New Braunfels; daughter, Glenna R. Knetsch and husband Michael of New Braunfels; brother Arnold Winfield of Pryor, Okla.; sister, Pat Morris of Burkburnet, Texas; grandchildren, Brian and wife Heather, Chris and fiancee Bonnie, Barron, Beau, Danika and husband John; and great-granddaughter, Reagen Tyler.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at the Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilburn Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Public visitation will continue until 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be given to Eastside Baptist Church.
