Glenna Rose Knetsch, age 63, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010.

She was born July 3, 1947, in Hobart, Okla., to Sam and Louise (Winfield) Blevins. She married Michael W. Knetsch on April 22, 1967. She was a nurse for Dr. Peter Forney.

Survivors include her husband, Michael W. Knetsch of New Braunfels; her son, Brian Scott Knetsch and his wife Heather of Ft. Belvoir, Va; two grandchildren, Reagan Knetsch and Drue Knetsch; her father, Sam Blevins of New Braunfels; two brothers, Sammie Blevins and his wife Nancy, and Doug Blevins and his wife Karla, all of New Braunfels; one niece and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation began at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels on Saturday, and will continue Sunday from noon until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Comal Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Lung Association.
