Margarito Ibarra was born May 20, 1954 in Jalisco, Mexico one of nine children born to Concepcion (Sanchez) and Lorenso Ibarra. He moved to the Wasco area 30 years ago and worked as a dishwasher for 24th Street Café and other restaurants for the last 15 years. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to music.

Margarito is survived by his wife, Felicitas (Pelayo) Ibarra; children, Jose Meza, Luz M. Ibarra, Marcelino Ibarra, Patricia Ibarra, Enrique Ibarra and Lurdes Ibarra; siblings, Camerina Ibarra, Guadalupe Ibarra, Rigoberto Ibarra, Reina Ibarra, Maria Luisa Ibarra, Leticia Ibarra, Rosa Ibarra and Teresa Ibarra; and 14 grandchildren.

Holy Rosary will be recited Wednesday, August 31 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home for Margarito Ibarra, age 57, of Wasco who passed away August 28, 2011 in Delano. Mass of the Christian Burial will be said Thursday, September 1 at 10am at St. John's Church. Fr. John will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, August 31 from 2pm – 8pm at Peters Funeral Home.
