Funeral services for Iralue Atkinson, Dillsboro, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, at Ulrich-Filter Funeral Home, Dillsboro, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro.
Mrs. Atkinson died Sunday, Dec. 4, in The Waters of Dillsboro. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Atkinson Sr., Dillsboro; three sons, Jessie Atkinson Jr., Jacksonville, Fla., Dennis Atkinson, Mooresville, and Michael Atkinson, Indianapolis; two daughters, Barbara Bruce and Leatha Tudor, both of Dillsboro; a sister Mary Floyd, Elkton, Ky.; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Parkinson's Research.
