Mr. Duchensky, a graduate of Central High School, Newark, is associated with the Midland Upholstering Company in Montclair. A Navy veteran, he served three and one-half years in the Pacific area.

Michael Duchensky, 77, of Montclair, died Thursday, July 15, in Mountainside Hospital. Mr. Duchensky was an upholsterer for many years in his family business, the Midland Upholstery Shop in Montclair, before retiring 12 years ago. He also was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. Born in Perth Amboy, Mr. Duchensky lived in Montclair for many years. He is survived by a son, Michael; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Abboubi and Mrs. Donna Grant; a brother, Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Olga Maresca and Sister Jonathon S.S.M.; and three grandchildren.
