Floyd F. Bower, 61, died at 2:30 PM Monday, May 6, 1968, at St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been in failing health for a year. He was born near Number 10 and had been a life resident of Tippecanoe County. He was employed as custodian at Purdue Airport for eight years and prior to that he worked for the Brown Rubber Company for 14 years. In 1933 he was married here to Laura Thomas.
Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Marion Hankins of Lafayette and Mrs. Ronald Luntz of Sewickley, PA; two sons, Donald D. Bower and Francis L. Bower; a stepson, Ernest L. Hamilton; a sister, Mrs. Violet German; and a brother, Virgil C. Bower, all of Lafayette.
