Bernice Davis of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Earl Hash and Edna Underwood Hash, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 28, 1930. She died at 7:50 P.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 81
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Phillip Morris in Louisville and Campbellsville Laundry in Campbellsville.
She was an honorary member of the Eastern Star.
She united in marriage to Garnett Davis, Sr. July 4, 1946.
Besides her husband, Garnett Davis, Sr., she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Will and Donna Davis of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Jeremiah Davis and wife, Tabetha and Joshua Davis and wife, Kecia of Campbellsville; two great-grandsons: Elliott Kessler Davis and Evan Shofner Davis of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Garland Hash in infancy and Myrtle Cecil Johnson August 25, 1995.
