Thomas Daniel Wickham was born on October 16,1881, in Butler County, and passed away on Thursday , February 16 at the Lutheran Hospital in Hampton following a stroke.
He lived in and around Durmont his entire life. He resided on a farm north of Dumont for 31 years and retired moving to Dumont in 1942 where he has lived for the past 14 years.
He was married to Elfa Mae Click on April 1,1906 and to this union one son was born. Forest LaVerne of Dumont. On March 13,1918 he was married to Kate Goodsell.
Survivors include his wife, one son , Forest; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Elaine Noelting of Hampton and Mrs. Harm Reikon of Dumont; 3 sisters, Mrs. Viola Reints of Hampton, Mrs. Ed Abben of Bristow and Mrs. Emma DeVore of Dumont; 3 brothers, Willars of Hampton, Ervin of Dumont and Lawrence of Shell Lake, Wisconsin; besides numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Sunday at the Bethany E. U. B Church and burial was held in Dumont Cemetery
