Mrs. Anna Scobee was taken to the asylum for the insane, Thursday. She was accompanied by Sheriff Crooks and Mrs. Hall, the lady who has been taking care of her. (her 6 year old daughter died and she went insane with grief)

SARAH A. SCOBEE DEAD
Sarah A. Mason, daughter of George and Jane Mason, was born in Sullivan County, MO., Sept. 12, 1858, died Sept. 24, 1910 of pneumonia fever, aged 52 years and 12 days.
She was married to James W. Scobee in March, 1884, who died Dec. 1891. To this union was born three children, Berry, who is in the U.S. Army, now stationed in the Phillippine Islands; Pearl, of Unionville, Mo., and Carrie, who died in May, 1897.
She was the youngest of nine children and is survived by three brothers and two sisters. Geo. W. Mason, Pollock, Mo.; Mrs. Maggie Thornburgh, Spearfish, S. Dak.; Jas. S. Mason, Lemonvuille, Mo.; Mrs. Cassie See, Seymour, Ia.; and G. C. Mason, Cherokee, Okla. She has been a member of the M.
E. church for a number of years.

She was born in Jackson's Corner, Sullivan Co., MO to George Mason and Jane ?
She was the 2nd wife of James Wesley Scobee.
She died in the State Hospital in St. Joseph, MO. She lost her mind after the death of her youngest child, 6 year old Carrie Estella Scobee, of Typhoid Fever.
