Hattie M. Stafford, 94, Carthage died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at St. Luke's Nursing Center.
Mrs. Stafford was born December 14, 1905 in Eureka Springs, AR., to William and Anna Narramore. She was a nurse's aid at McCune-Brooks Hospital for 23 years before retiring in 1972.
She married George Stafford. He died on February 10, 1949.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Wood of Diamond; five sons, George Stafford and Robert Stafford, both of Carthage; John Stafford, Rockledge, MO., Lorena Stafford of Kansas City, MO. and Larry Stafford of Oaks, MO.; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday July 8 at Park Cemetery. The Rev. Robert W. Blank will officiate. Knell Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
