Obituary
Mrs. Mary Stricklett died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert Campbell, at midnight last night of Bright's disease, following an illness of about two years. Mary Pennington was born in Louisville, Kentucky, April 26th, 1844, so would have been 79 years of age had she lived until April 26th of this year. She was married there to John Stricklett and came to this county long before Blair was born in 1869. Mr. Stricklett died eight years ago last November. She is survived by six sons and four daughters; the sons are Peter, Charles, J. P., John, George and Frank. The daughters, Mrs. Frank Hineline, of DeSoto, Mrs. Laura Cleaver, of Iowa, Mrs. Mattie Jensen and Mrs. Bert Campbell, of this city. Also three sisters, Mrs. Jas. Lewis, Mrs. John Cooper, Mrs. Greeno and one brother, G.W. Pennington, of Grand Island. The arrangements for the funeral have not been made as we go to press.
