He married Patricia Ehrman on May 4, 1956 in Port Orchard. Washington.
Billy retired as an Engineering Technician from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1987.
He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War attaining the rank of Radioman First Class.
Billy was a Ham radio operator for 55 years. His call letters were W7XV.
Surviving are his wife Patricia; daughters Teri and Susan (Rick); son Rusty ; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Daniel & Raymond, and sister Afton.
