Edith Patricia "Pat" Chambers came into this world on June 3, 1943, to Edith and John Madden in Savannah GA and left on August 25, 2011, after a courageous struggle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Chambers Fowler and her parents. Pat is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ron Chambers of the home; her daughter and her family: Donna Chambers, Matt Metzinger, and Jennifer Cote; her grandson and great-granddaughter: Michael and Jaycee Woolverton, grandson and his wife: Josh and Joshalyn Richardson; her aunt and family: Dot and Tom Coover of Savannah GA.

Pat was always about love and family. She and Ron were a testament to love as evidenced by their 51 years of marriage. They met in Savannah GA when Patty was 16 and Ron was stationed at Hunter Air Force Base. The Air Force took them to many cities in the U.S., but they were always together and finally settled and raised their family in Del City OK. In their travels, Pat and Ron visited many cities and countries, making friends everywhere they went. Her favorite place to travel with her family was their lake house on Lake Texoma, where they became great friends with Martin and Sissy Arnold. Pat was a member of Meadowood Baptist Church and enjoyed the fellowship and friendships of The Chosen Ones Sunday school class. She enjoyed spending time with and supporting her family in their activities and interests. Patty was an only child but over the years became part of the Chambers' group of siblings: Bob and Betty Sue Chambers, Ruth Ann and Paul John Enot, and Jim and Jeanne Chambers and their families. Patty and Ruth Ann became like sisters over the years and during the last year, Ruth Ann's love and support gave Patty an added strength to face the days of a very trying time. Patty looked forward to talking to her on a regular basis, as well as the visits they were able to enjoy. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Hospice of Oklahoma County for their care and support during her final days.
