Morello Jackson, 86, of Rt. 1, Petroleum, died Saturday morning at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ritchie County a son of the late Ulyssus and Kate Foutty Jackson. He was a farmer. Surviving are two sons, Bernard of Petroleum and Ronald of Davisville; two daughters, Mary Gorrell of Parkersburg and Genevieve Mackey of Washington W.Va.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Leep Jackson; by a son, three brothers and a sister. Services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Leavitt Funeral Home. The Rev. Orval Cunningham officiated with burial in the Arlington Memorial Gardens.
