Vivian G. Moss, age 95, of Stevens Point, died March 27, 2016 at the Wellington Place in Stevens Point.
Vivian was born July 24, 1920 in Junction City, WI to the late Rodney & Louise (Fierke) Grover. She grew up there and attended the local schools. Vivian attended Emerson High School and was part of the first class to graduate from PJ Jacobs High School.
Shortly after high school, Vivian began working for her father’s law office as a legal secretary. She subsequently found work at the Hotel Whiting, St. Michaels Hospital, & Hardware Mutual until becoming employed at the Madison, WI Army Air Base doing clerical work. She later returned to Stevens Point to work for her brother who had partnered with their father’s law office. She worked as a legal secretary until retiring in 1979.
She married Vernon L. Moss at St. Paul Lutheran Church on June 27, 1964 in Stevens Point, WI.
Vivian had a passion for music. She enjoyed movies, bowling, & golfing. Vivian also liked collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. She will be remembered for her friendly, caring, & loving personality.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Al (Linda) Grover, Sherry (Roy) Andrews, Jim (Frankie) Grover, Vicki (Buzz) Benson, Cindy Grover, Cherry “Cookie” (Jim) Winn, and Gary (Linda) Grover. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; and special friend, Stan Potocki, and many others.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon; and brothers, Kenneth and Clifford.
Funeral Services are pending at this time.
She will be dearly missed.
