Mrs. Joann Carter, age 40, of Jamestown, Tennessee, formerly of Russell County, died Tuesday, June 29, 1982, at Parkview Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee.
A member of the Baptist Church, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otha Wilson, of Russell Springs, who survive.
Other survivors include her husband, Claude Carter; three daughters, Teresa Mattingly, Kansas City, Missouri, Sherry Spannuth, Indianapolis, Indiana, Tina Tayes, Plainfield, Indiana; five brothers, Donnie, Kenny, Bobby, Johnny, and Dorman Wilson, all of Russell Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Friddle, and Mrs. Debbie Jones; and one grandchild, April Mattingly.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 2, 1982, at 10:00 a.m., at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Hollis Finch and Bro. Larold Gosser officiating.
Burial will be in the McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Indiana.
