The following is an article from the January 19, 1911, issue of The Washington Journal, Adams County, Washington, as provided by contributor #47544482, gapwork90.
Mrs. Oscar Caldwell died at Phoenix, Arizona, last Saturday. She was the daughter of John Sponsler of this city, and went to Arizona for her health about a month ago. Death was due to tuberculosis. She is survived by a husband and one child, about a year old. The body was taken to Tipton, Missouri, for burial beside her mother.
NOTE: Both articles contain variations of some names. On cemetery records for Tipton Odd Fellows Cemetery, her parents' names are Sponcler, not Sponsler, and she is listed as "Delia", per the article in the Tipton Times. Also, the Tipton article refers to her husband as E.R. Caldwell; the article from the State of Washington has his name as Oscar. In the will of her father, his name is Edward.
There is a large Sponcler family stone at the cemetery and there are pictures at Moniteau.net of the stone and of the markers for her parents. Since there are no photos of a marker for her, I am assuming her grave is unmarked.
