Frank Bauer, 86, Bismarck, died Jan. 1, 2001, in his home. Services will be held at noon Friday at Church of St. Mary, Bismarck, with the Rev. Charlie Heidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck.
Frank was born Feb. 3, 1914, at McIntosh, S.D., the son of Joseph and Leokadia (Himmelspach) Bauer. He was raised and educated near Center. He farmed near Center. He retired from farming and moved to Bismarck, where he worked for Brady Construction Co. He later owned his own construction company. Frank was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and American Legion.
He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Justine, Dickinson; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Eva Bauer, Mandan, and Monica and John Neigum, Bismarck.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Holden, Veronica Kruskevsky and Anna Ferderer; and three brothers, Al, Peter and George
