A pretty wedding was solemnized by Rev. A.M. Muckerheide at St. Bernard's Church on Thursday, June 2, 1938, at 8 o'clock, when Annabel Haas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Haas of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Frank Budzinski of Chicago, son of Frank Budzinski of Thorp.
The bride was attended by her sister, Manetta Haas. The groom was attended by his cousin, Joe Kryzanski.
The bride wore a white crepe cape dress with white accessories and a shoulder corsage of roses, sweet peas and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid wore a shell pink cape dress with white accessories and a shoulder corsage of roses and sweet peas. The groom and the best man wore oxford grey sits.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for about twenty-five guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Budzinski will make their home in Chicago.

Annabelle Budzinski

A funeral Mass for Annabelle L. Budzinski, 82, a resident of Beacon Hill Retirement Center in Lombard, formerly of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn, IL for 43 years, was celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2000 at St. Petronille Church, Hillside and Glenwood, Glen Ellyn, IL. The Rev. Tom Paul officiated. Burial was in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.
Annabelle was born August 31, 1917, in Thorp, WI. She died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Beacon Hill Care Center in Lombard.
Mrs. Budzinski was a former secretary at DuPage Produce in Wheaton and she and her husband, Frank, had also owned Glen Cleaners in Glen Ellyn from 1967 to 1975. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Wheaton VFW Post #2164 as well as a Moose Lodge in Florida.
Surviving are her children: Darlene Menke of Wheaton, Ronald (Norma) Budzinski of Wheaton, and Donna Rae Bresser of Carol Stream; grandchildren: Thomas (Isabelle) Menke of Wheaton, Michael (Victoria) Menke of Bartlett, Kira (Douglas) Pippert of Plymouth, MN, Sybil (Jeffrey) Scaccia of Naperville, Jonathon (Brady) Bresser of Wheaton and Jenna Bresser of Carol Stream; great-grandchildren: Steven, Eric and Vanessa Menke; brother, Leonard Haas of Sun Prairie, WI and sister, Manetta Danielewicz of Thorp, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Budzinski.
