Twin of Isaac Bailey (1794-1825), both sons of Devoe Bailey (1751-1823) and Elizabeth Smith (1760-1830), husband of Sarah Coffee (1804-1881); no children.

According to Patrick Raftery, Librarian of the Westchester County Historical Society, Presbyterian Church Cemetery (also known as “Union Meeting and Public Burying Grounds”) was founded in 1798. Management of these two named burial grounds was transferred to Ivandell Cemetery in 1894. There was a meeting house in the Union Meeting and Public Burying Grounds that was often referred to as a Presbyterian church, so the older burial space was occasionally called the Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Any interment that occurred before 1867 (such as this one) occurs within Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The exception would be remains of some persons who were originally buried in the older burial ground but removed to Ivandell after it opened in 1867, as families bought larger plots in the newer cemetery.

Westchester County Historical Society has inscription records for this cemetery; the cemetery also appears in their Cemetery Index (under Somers, WCHS Book #35, Section 1, p. 1-21): https://westchesterhistory.com/library/collections/cemetery-index/
