Marion Travis (Pete) Moore, 80, returned to our Father in Heaven on Sunday, August 21. 2011 after a long and valiant battle with illness.
Pete was born 9/6/30 in Vernal, Utah to Leafy and Travis Moore. He has been married to his loving wife, Maria, for the last forty-fivr years and they raised four children. He was a resident of Salt Lake City for over thirty years before retiring to St George.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gene, sisters Ruth, Lula, Ruby and Helen, and son James. He is survived by his wife Maria, sons John (West Valley City) and Rob (Tucson), daughter Angela (Murray), brother Vern (St. George), six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.; both services will be held at Lake Hills Mortuary in Sandy, UT.
