Ira McKeeby, 51 years old, a resident of Pierce City 20 years died yesterday afternoon in Cardwell hospital at Stella after a long illness. For the last 10 years, Mr. McKeeby operated the W. & W. service station here.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Tina McKeeby; as son, Hillard McKeeby of Meadville, PA.; a brother, Orville McKeeby of Houston, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. W.L. Miller of Santa Barbara, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Methodist church. The Rev. George Ferenberg will officiate and burial will be in the city cemetery under the direction of the Wessell funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home until time for the service.
