Mrs Hanna Dye Passes Away at Extreme Age of 82

Mrs Hannah L Dye, aged 82 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Edward Boothe of Pomeroy Monday morning from infirmities of age. She was the widow of Al Dye formerly of Wellston. The body was brought back to the home of her son Henry Dye of route 2, Tuersday afternoon.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs A J Pierce (Price) of wellsotn, Mrs William Deck of Glen Roy and Mrs Edward Booth of Pomeroy, two sons tom and Henry, five brothers, George Smith of Wellston, Charles and James Smith whose location is unknown, Hiram Smith of Jackson and Will Smith of Hamden, two sisters Mrs Mary Mates (Mapes) of Jackson and Mrs Dave Welsh of Wellston, thirty two grandchildren, and twenty two great grandchildren.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the U.B. church. Rev. W.F. Rutherford officiating. Burial was in Ridgewood cemetery under the direction of Art Leach."
