Mrs. Marlow was born in W. Virginia, the daughter of the late Carl Dawson and Ruth Grigsby Dawson Butcher. She was a homemaker, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary and the Home Demonstration Club in Prairie Plains, and attended the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marlow was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Marlow, Sr.; one son, Joe Marlow, Jr.; one daughter, Brenda Givens; and one brother, Hubert Dawson. She is survived by two daughters, Julia Henson of Hillsboro and Rebecca Sutherland of Cookeville; three sisters, Anna Willis of Austin, TX, Kathleen Smith of Cleveland, TN, and Frances Benish of London, Ontario, Canada; and nine grandchildren, Bryan Stevens, Scott Stevens, Mark Stevens, Neil Givens, Jr., Sally Bolin, Joe Marlow, III, Alicean Clark, Katelin Henson, and Jared Henson; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Marlow; and several great grandchildren.
