The Pantagraph, Bloomington, Illinois, Sunday, August 12, 1984, Page 45, Cols. 1 & 2: Beulah Rist. Beulah Rist, 68, of Secor, formerly of 702 N. Oak St., Bloomington died at 2:55 p.m. yesterday (Aug. 11, 1984) at the McLean County Nursing Home, after a long illness. Her funeral will be at 1 p. m. Tuesday at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, the Rev. Donald Clontz officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the memorial home.
She was born Nov. 3, 1915, a daughter of William Kelly and Minnie Ethel Hayes Bicknell. She married Vinel Rist. He died June 8, 1972. Surviving are three sons, Bill Rist, 1306 W. Taylor St., Bloomington; Layton Barbee, West Fork, Ark.; and John Rist, Fort Belvoir, Va.; three daughters, Helen Craig, Secor; Caroline Fogler, Danvers; and Eveline Emmert, Hudson; two brothers, Hugh Bicknell, Paxton and John Bicknell, Heyworth; one sister, Mary Ann Gregory, Bakersfield, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, on daughter and one brother. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the Corn Belt Bank.
