The Fort Wayne native was a veteran of the Korean War, retired in 1981 from Joslyn Stainless Steels after 31 1/2 years, and was a member of Trinity Chapter 576 Order of the Eastern Star, Summit City Lodge 170 F&AM, Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine, Disabled American Veterans, Fraternal Order of Police Associate and Amaranth Court 3.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian L.; daughter, Jane Dunn of Fort Wayne; sisters, Roberta Ebert of Churubusco, Phyllis Castle of Lake George, Mich., Alice Mabrey of Lacey, Wash., Patricia Hoopengartner of Fort Wayne and Barbara Koskie of Garrett; brothers, Kenneth and Everett, both of Churubusco, George of Fort Wayne and Charles of Edon, Ohio; four grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. tomorrow in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, with a Masonic memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
