daughter of Rev Erastus Learned and Sophia Bacon, adopted daughter of Hon Orin Fowler

A teacher in the female seminary and at Monson Academy, she married Dr. Bartlett in 1840 and was with him at Western Reserve College, Manchester, NH, and for twenty years at Chicago.
