The remains of the little baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. Ordean Dahl was laid to rest in the cemetery south of town last Friday afternoon. Rev. J.E. Lee conducted a short burial service at the Litchville Cemetery that was attended by relatives of the immediate family.
Prematurely born at Mercy Hospital in Valley City last Thursday (June 13, 1940), the child lived only ten hours.
Mrs. Dahl, seriously ill, had been rushed to the hospital the previous night under the advice of her doctor. She was allowed to return to her home here on Tuesday of this week, but will be confined to her bed for some time to come.
Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Dahl sympathize with them in the death of their first-born.
